A Festival Born in Mexico, Now on the Global Stage

Established in Los Cabos, Mexico in 2013, Gala de Danza has evolved into a revolutionary celebration of artistic excellence. Past editions have featured stars from the world’s leading ballet and music institutions and have taken place in architectural landmarks such as the award-winning Viceroy Los Cabos. London marks a new milestone in the Gala’s global expansion, with future editions planned in the Middle East and beyond.

Founder and Artistic Director Christina Lyon is a passionate advocate for the power of the arts to educate, uplift, and connect. A former soloist with American Ballet Theatre and guest artist with English National Ballet, Lyon founded Gala de Danza to bridge established artists and rising talent through innovative live performance.

“This London debut is a defining moment for Gala de Danza. After more than a decade of presenting groundbreaking performances in Mexico, we’re thrilled to bring this global celebration of movement and music to a city with such a rich dance tradition,” says Lyon.
